“I pick up the clarinet to share a message with mankind. I do not go on stage to show that I can play an instrument. I go on stage to speak music, to let people share my inner voice. Neither do I wait for audience’s reaction – the music will bring us together though its message.
And this is, of course, spiritual message, inner nourishment, that we need and must share with each other , like the sight of a sculpture or a painting or the body in ballet.”
